Using Pro-Nox® During the Procedure
Once we’ve made sure that Pro-Nox® is appropriate for you, you will receive a mouthpiece and simple instructions on how to use it. You will inhale the mixture of nitrous oxide and oxygen as per your provider’s instructions.
Shortly after, you will feel relaxed or slightly lightheaded; this is the nitrous oxide working its effect. You will be awake and able to speak with your provider during your treatment.
The cosmetic procedure will be conducted according to the individualized plan with additional comfort and safety.
Post-Treatment Expectations
The effects of Pro-Nox® wear off almost immediately once the mouthpiece is removed. Once the procedure is complete, your provider will give you specific instructions based on the cosmetic procedure that you just received.
